Integration of Manganese Dioxide‐Based Nanomaterials for Biomedical Applications

Advancements in nanotechnology have promoted the rapid development of diverse nanosystems for biomedical applications. Manganese dioxide (MnO2) nanomaterials attracted numerous attentions field biosensing and cancer treatment due to their unique properties, such as simple fabrication procedures, broad optical absorption, high oxidation catalytic ability. Especially, intelligent stimuli-responsiveness MnO2 tumor microenvironment (TME) greatly improves performance imaging therapy. In this review, synthetic methods different nanostructures (nanoparticles, nanosheets, nanoflowers) are first introduced, followed by introduction various applications based on characteristics. Then, recent achievements progress comprehensively summarized with a focus therapeutic enhancements profiting from disassembled ingredients under TME guidance. Finally, current challenges future perspectives promising research discussed fields biomedicine.
